Hotel Thueringer Hof, Jena

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall. The rooms were very big and clean, nicely decorated, but there was a slight hospital-like smell, possibly due to strong cleaning products. The location was very good, within walking distance of the Jena city center and the Jena West rail station. The dining experience was simple and basic, although reasonable for the price. However, the staff, while trying their best to fulfill wishes, had a mixed appearance that some might find unique, ranging from typical to resembling characters from a horror movie.
