I had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall. The rooms were very big and clean, nicely decorated, but there was a slight hospital-like smell, possibly due to strong cleaning products. The location was very good, within walking distance of the Jena city center and the Jena West rail station. The dining experience was simple and basic, although reasonable for the price. However, the staff, while trying their best to fulfill wishes, had a mixed appearance that some might find unique, ranging from typical to resembling characters from a horror movie.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated, spacious, and had a good workspace, perfect for a business traveler like me. Although I enjoyed the small LCD TV that allowed me to connect my external computer, I wish the view was more appealing. The service was top-notch with very friendly staff running the restaurant and bar, typical for this kind of guesthouse.
